Welcome to the Uma Kadampa Buddhist Centre

We are a member of the New Kadampa Tradition, a worldwide organisation of over 1,200 centres and branches worldwide.

We offer a variety of meditation classes and courses which are suitable both for beginners and also for those who wish to engage in more in-depth meditation and study of Buddhism.

Beginners Classes

All our classes have one aim – to find peace and happiness in this busy world. If our mind is peaceful we shall be free from worries and mental discomfort and so we shall experience true happiness. Try one of our classes.

If you are new to meditation and would like to see what we do then why not come to one of our open days . You can try one of our free taster meditation sessions. Open days are on the first Saturday of each month (starting in October) and on a Wednesday morning, 10am to midday.
