Uma Buddhist Centre offers a range of meditation classes, day courses, retreats and study programmes that provide clear instructions on all levels of meditation practice.

The summary below gives an outline of what is available at Uma Centre. Some activities such as the General Programme or basic retreats are ideal for beginners whereas others, such as our Foundation Programme are perfect for those wishing to deepen their experience.

General Programme (GP) Drop-in Classes Come when you can, no need to sign up. Good for beginners as well as those with experience.
Foundation Programme (FP) Study Classes For those who wish to commit to a more structured programme of study to deepen their knowledge and experience.
Day Courses A chance to focus and gain insight into a particular subject for the day.
Day Retreats A good opportunity to be introduced to and immerse yourself in meditation for a day.
Weekend Retreats A good opportunity to be introduced to and immerse yourself in meditation for a weekend.
